1. PVC card production process

3. Classification of PVC card technology

Answer: A. Silk screen printing means that there are few colors and can be used for spot colors. If there is no gradient effect, silk printing can be used.
B. Bright colors and gradient effects are all produced by offset printing. (Silk screen printing can be used for offset printing, but offset printing cannot be used for screen printing)
C. The card that has been printed with a silver background and then offset is printed with silk and glue, and the effect is like glitter.
(2) Glossy card - frosted card - matte card - transparent card - film card - gold/silver base card - non-standard card (non-standard card) How to identify these types of cards?
The quotation table is based on glossy cards, frosted cards add 5 points/piece, matte cards add 5 points/piece, transparent cards add 5 points/piece, film cards add 4 points/piece, gold/silver background Add 3 points/card. The price of non-standard cards is calculated separately.

5. What the card is for

7. Common PVC card order requirements
(1) Make embossed code. The distance between the embossed code position and the edge of the card is 5MM. The embossed code is divided into large embossed code (size 16 characters), small embossed code (size 12 characters), embossed code hot stamping or hot silver. (No charge)
(2) Print barcode. The most commonly used barcodes are: 39 clear/password, 128 clear/password, and 13 clear/password.
(Note: Barcodes cannot be printed on matte and frosted cards!)
But you can print barcodes. If the transparent card needs to be barcoded or sprayed, it is best to ask the customer to apply white oil on the barcode position. Otherwise, the transparent card will not be inductive, and the glossy card can be barcoded. No matter what order you take, if you want to print a barcode, it depends on whether there are enough barcode positions. The same is true for barcode printing, but the barcode printing position is longer than the barcode printing position. Whether the barcode can be read is related to the length of the barcode. The barcode position changes with the change of data. The more barcode data, the longer the barcode position is. The less barcode data, the shorter the barcode position is.
Code 13 requires the customer to provide 12 digits of data, either one less digit or one more digit is not acceptable.
(3) Put on the magnetic strip. There are two types of magnetic stripes: real magnetic stripes and fake magnetic stripes. There are three types of real magnetic stripes: ordinary magnetic stripes, high-resistance magnetic stripes, and Kool magnetic stripes. The standard magnetic stripe width is 12.5MM (such as the magnetic stripe on a bank card) and the distance from the edge of the card is 4MM. The width more commonly used by foreign orders is 8MM (small magnetic stripe).
(4) Silk screen signature strip. Common signature strips are: white signature, gray signature, transparent signature, and white signature with stamp.
(5) Hot plate. Hot stamping plates are divided into: hot stamping/silver hot stamping laser gold/silver hot stamping surface gold/silver
(6) Sprinkle gold/silver powder. The effects of sprinkling gold/silver powder and gold/silver base are different, so pay attention to the distinction. (But the overall effect is still similar)
ABS performance
General performance
The appearance of ABS is opaque and ivory-colored granules. It is non-toxic, tasteless and has low water absorption. Its products can be colored in various colors and have a high gloss of 90%. ABS has good bonding properties with other materials and is easy to surface print, coat and plating. The oxygen index of ABS is 18.2, which is a flammable polymer. The flame is yellow with black smoke, burnt but not dripping, and emits a special cinnamon smell.
ABS is a resin with very good comprehensive properties. It has high impact strength and surface hardness in a relatively wide temperature range, has a higher heat deformation temperature than PA and PVC, and has good dimensional stability.
The fluidity of ABS melt is better than PVC and PC, but worse than PE, PA and PS, and similar to POM and HIPS. The flow characteristics of ABS are non-Newtonian fluids. Its melt viscosity is related to both processing temperature and shear rate, but it is more sensitive to shear rate.
Mechanical properties
ABS has excellent mechanical properties, good impact strength and can be used at extremely low temperatures. Even if the ABS product is damaged, it will only be tensile damage rather than impact damage. ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability, and oil resistance, and can be used for bearings under medium loads and speeds. The creep property of ABS is greater than that of PSF and PC, but smaller than that of PA and POM. The flexural strength and compressive strength of ABS are among the worst among plastics. The mechanical properties of ABS are greatly affected by temperature.
The mechanical properties of ABS will deteriorate due to physical and chemical aging. Physical aging will increase the density of the amorphous SAN phase even if heat treated below its glass transition temperature, thus causing the ABS plastic product to embrittle.
Chemical aging is initially caused by the degradation of the PB phase caused by thermal oxidation, resulting in PB cross-linking. This is the main chemical degradation mechanism that affects the mechanical properties of ABS.
Thermal properties
ABS is an amorphous polymer with no obvious melting point; the melt viscosity is high, the fluidity is poor, the weather resistance is poor, and ultraviolet rays can cause discoloration; the heat distortion temperature is 70-107°C (around 85), and the product can still be used after annealing. Increase by about 10ºC. It is sensitive to temperature and shear rate; ABS can still show a certain degree of toughness at -40°C and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
Electrical and environmental performance
ABS has good electrical insulation and is almost unaffected by temperature, humidity and frequency, and can be used in most environments.
ABS is not affected by water, inorganic salts, alkali alcohols, hydrocarbon solvents and various acids, but it is soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It will cause stress cracking when corroded by glacial acetic acid, vegetable oils, etc.
